My Family Over Myself? Hmm... What To Say...
What is more important to me, family or individual desires? For me it would have to be my family, now granted you could look the other way and say that my desires and goals that I set myself are number one and should be attended to first, but it's how one gets to those desires. For me to achieve these desires I have to use human resources to help me along the way, weather it be for moral support or general advice. My family is one of those resources. Whatever my goal happens to be I know that I can count on them to help me get that "edge" over the competition. Without my family I am pretty sure that I would not be in this position that I am in right this very moment. I create my own building blocks for my own life but my family is the glue that sticks them all together. One block might be to become great at something and I might not be able to "put the pieces" together. Then here comes the family to the rescue! They help glue that metaphorical gap shut and allow me to preform that art to the best of my abilities. No matter what the case maybe I seem to always fall back on my family to raise my hope of completing this cases. A great example happens mostly everyday this school year, I usually stay up late doing homework and my brother will as stay up with me to see if I have any questions that he can answer to the best of his abilities. My family has always been there for me whenever I needed something and that is something that I shall never forget. Throughout the years of my life my family has shown me this and I now understand that while individual desires may seem all too important, they are meaningless and non-existent without a strong family for assistance.

I like your honesty and self-awareness. Also, super cool web page. Interesting font (really long Panic-at-the-Disco titles too)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading this blog passage, and argee with your perspective. It not only reflected upon the needs of yourself, but how family held importance as well.
