Discover Yourself ~ Journey Time!

Journeys are taken by many people across the world. There are many different kinds of journeys but the most prevalent ones are about finding something, whether it be and object or something thought provoking. One thing people and search for is who they are. Journeys of self-discovery are made by people who are unknowing of themselves.
Usual journeys of self-discovery begin with the adventurer realizing that there is something about themselves that they did not know previously. They proceed to ask the many different people that they know in order to solve this dilemma. Unable to quickly solve it the adventurer is left puzzled and with the decision to either leave it as it is or to go on a "Journey of Self-Discovery". (see what I did there?) Now to make a good story the adventurer usually chooses the option to go on that journey. This usually entails traveling far and wide to solve this issue; asking questions on who they are and what is it that they are doing there.
(WARNING: Random obscure video game example that is skip-able!)
In a more recent (not really) video game, "Okamiden" one of the main character's partner, Kuni, is discovered to be and adopted child who's origin is unknown. At the end of the game the child himself discovered the truth that he was adopted and wants to learn the truth from his so-called "parents". As they are both unknowing when it comes to his origin, he is met with the dilemma of "how do I figure this out?" Of course he decides to go on the journey to "Discover himself and his origins".
This example shows what a "Journey of Self-Discovery" really is. It is a journey that one takes in order to discover certain facts about their being that they might not know themselves. So, as yourself, is it your journey time?

Situations: Finding YOUR voice!

There is a common misconception going around the air. In most situations it is difficult to find one's voice. I am here to debunk this. There is no reason why a person would need to find it difficult to find their OWN voice. Someone's voice is based upon their own opinion on the current subject matter. The first step in developing your voice is to look at your situation. An example is band, one student might make the careless assumption that, "TEH CLARINETZ R TEH B3ST S3CTION IN ZEH WORLDZ!!!" Now, to develop my voice in this matter is to first make an opinion, which is, no the trumpets are considered to be the best section. Why? Because they are loud, sound amazing, and have the biggest egos in the world. Bam. My voice. Almost like a thesis statement for an essay. Easy.
There is absolutely no reason what so ever that anybody under the right mind should find it difficult to find their voice in situations. Now one may make the argument, let's go extreme for a moment, "What if the people who are asking for your opinion have a GUN POINTED TO YOUR FACE?!" The answer to that is simple, of course it will very difficult for someone to develop their opinion on ANY subject, because now it is a matter of life or death. Anyways I digress.
The point is that sure, there are certain situations where it is in fact hard to form one's voice, but there is more situations where it is easier to form such a voice. Boom, Roasted.
